Bali AkasaDua Villa

AkasaDua is your classic hidden gem, and I am so glad we found it amongst all of the other places in Bali. We will definitely be back. When you first arrive, and open the wooden doors and look through the lovely thatched roof entrance, you immediately feel relaxed and stimulated at the same time. We were sitting in the lovely pool having an iced welcome drink within 10 minutes of arrival, and if we’d stayed there for the entire time none of us would have complained. The pool really is that good. It is designed for sitting in, underneath a pair of beautiful frangipanis, and with a stunning waterfall whispering to you. Heaven is a massage beside the pool in your own private villa in Bali. There are two large bedrooms, one up and one down. Plenty of privacy from each other. We were each jealous of each other’s bedroom, but neither would swap, so you can’t get better than that. Wonderful staff too, and a yummy breakfast with a couple of options. I’ve been to Bali before and I know how important it is to find a great place. AkasaDua does it all for me.

My partner and I had a wonderful first trip to Bali made all the more special by the lovely staff at Akasa.
Could not fault the accommodation. Staff went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed. They booked our tours, restaurants and taxi’s when ever requested, even take out pizza.
Breakfast was cooked in our villa daily at a time specified by us depending on the day’s activities. Special thankyou to staff members Jro and Jimmy. We will be back

This place is one of the true greats.

It has an excellent layout with semi-open kitchen/bar that overlooks the dining area and the swimming pool. The pool is amazing, beautifully kept, perfectly shaped, surrounded by exotic trees and reclusive daybeds. So many great little nooks to read, sun or be more alone in, but the communal areas the tables, chairs and seating layout are truly special. It is a perfect place to bring a group of friends, or some families together. Kids would have a really great time here too.

The rooms themselves are very luxurious. Luscious large beds, each room has its own character but all are fabulous. The semi-enclosed bathrooms are brilliantly designed, very clean and well-stocked. There’s been a real attention to detail here and awareness of what makes a stay comfortable.

Location is also good. Very close to the hustle and bustle of Seminyak, but feels like cloud Nine.

Our main focus for our trip wasn’t the usual party and nightlife of Bali, but more for the beautiful landscapes. We were looking for a private one bedroom villa, for two people to stay in that was not around the noisy and busy tourist spots over our two week break in Seminyak. To our surprise, we were greeted at Denpasar airport by our driver, dressed in traditional Balinese clothing and whisked away to a hidden tropical paradise. Refreshments on arrival and a detailed rundown of what was to be expected during our stay. At the time of booking, our stay included daily breakfast which we were able to choose from a set menu what we wanted to have and even what time between 7am and 11am.

Our one bedroom villa was PERFECT! Equiped with a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, balcony upstairs, and our very own pool. The pool was always cleaned on a daily basis and easily accessible at any time, which was great for the humid Bali climate. It was not hard to get around as the staff would call taxis on request and give us information on attractions and activities. They would even organise our day as per request. Not only was the villa itself a treasure, but the staff were 100% on point from the breakfast all the way to the daily turndown service.

We had two particular staff members that took care of breakfast, turndown and all of our other requests, “Gede” and “Made”, who made our experience at AkasaDua Villa extremely pleasant and comfortable. Everyday there was something creative either one would do, like the way they folded the towels or made our bed. From swan shaped towels to adding a floating bed in the pool for our entertainment, to the flowers from the surroundings being added to the poolside or bathroom.

Cleanliness was flawless, the wifi and aircon were in excellent working order aswell. I will definitely be recommending this villa to everyone and anyone who wants privacy, excellent customer service and quality accomodation that is central to the main area in Bali (Seminyak, Kuta, etc). I know that if I return to Bali, I will definitely stay at AkasaDua Villas again.
